The Millstone Is Heavy, Not Light As A Shofar

When your stomach bleeds and aches you feel
Do you recall  who served you an unclean  meal?

When you cry from sorrow throughout a night
Do you recall who didn't treat you right?

When your airways close from an allergen
Do you recall where and with whom you'd been?

When you book a prisoner in a jail
Do you recall his truth or his fake tale?

When anguish burdens your lonely space
Do you recall who refused to see your face?

When joy emerges on a difficult day
Do you recall who's kindness came your way?

When going forward for an improved view
Do you turn to see who's following you?

When moving ahead to face a foe
Do you  recall which way your foe did go?

When you want to pass an actual test
Do you recall which ways to study best?

When you think your mother has gone crazy
Do you recall your  father being lazy?

When you rather not hear your mother's  sad cries
Do you plan and then give her a pleasant surprise?

If your grandparent  petitioned for a 'divorce day'
Did that grandparent teach you about Yod Hey Vav Hey?

If you tried to 'hush up'  but then restarted to blog
Were you ignored by your kin folk while they assisted a frog?

When your child deceives and humiliates you
He failed to consider Yahweh's point of view.

When your neighbor speaks falsehood during chatter or trial
He's actually displaying his demonic style.

March 6th, 1982 was a horrible day
Groom Jackson that 'wed' me soon went Derringer's way.

When a curse, as prophesied, has come from Yahweh
Bless Yahweh! Stop being Yah's enemy today!

Today G. Steven Simons pitched Psalms 23
As with Psalm 91 last week,  Simons helped me.

    - March 7, 2020 and thinking of my grandson, Levi Isaiah,  whom I have been allowed to see only 2 hours during those 8 years.  I cannot lift a millstone, but I can lift a shofar.

It is well with my soul, but I suppose 'Joseph and Jeremiah' also understood what 'well' really means.
