Culture 'research is sometimes interesting and beneficial when resisting mythology. In the 1970's, I was bowling with my brothers and classmates. In th 1970's, Melissa Gilbert was acting with her adopted brother, Jonathan Gilbert. Melissa Gilbert's father committed suicide after her parents divorce and her adopted brother 'cut himself off' from Melissa. My parents never divorced, my brothers and I still are thoughtful toward each and stay in contact even though other troubled members of our family have cut themselves off from our family to seek their own 'happiness' while deciding that actual older family members aren't needed nor appreciated enough to be in contact with.  Jonathan and Melissa pretended in staged acts, and so too  are a multitude of staged acts done by millions of people that are pulled down into religious sects that demote real family members to 'nominal value' .
