Assess yourself to see if you have any signs of purity.
Do not try to get a verbally abusive person to be your 'friend', for doing so will turn out as bad as a boxer bitch who tries to win a physical bout against a porcupine.
If you have verbally abusive close relatives, it is best to try to help them change their ways if they are willing to be 'saved' by their faith in you or your God rather than have your entire family system crumble because of their pattern of depravity.
If a depraved person has rejected improvements in a relationship with you, he or she is also rejecting a relationship with your 'God', so be sure you have enough confidence in your God to trust his or her advice regarding behavior against anti-commandmentists.
A person who is pure in spirit will be able to be kind to other strangers and to hired servants such as police officers even after they have been attacked verbally or physically by a person with a depraved mind.
A person who is pure in heart will not take out their anger on their family members, but will confide in their family members if they believe their family members are NOT DEPRAVED.
A person who is pure in mind will still trust the directions delivered by Yehovah to humanity even when it is evident they are hated and targeted by anti-Messiah types because of their faith in Yehovah.
A person who is pure in behavior is difficult to find, but such a person make a wonderful spouse if another purified person is wise enough to propose marriage to an unmarried purified person.
A person who is pure in their method of operation will tell the truth even in the most difficult circumstances. Reporting the truth about a tragic incident is sometimes very difficult but is usually necessary at some point in time.
I'm done with my series on purity and how to assess and combat the spiritual illness known as 'depravity'. I have chosen purity as my daily, yearly and lifetime goal for holy, correct and perfect reasons . If everyone on earth chose purity, the world would be a perfect place to live.
