If a spouse was deserted by an unfaithful spouse and remarries a faithful woman , I suppose he can be called 'father' by his stepchildren, especially if their first father abandoned them or committed adultery causing a divorce.
It is not improbable to consider that Yeshua could have recited the Lord's Prayer to Joseph if Joseph was an honorable and faithful husband of his mother, Mary. A man should consider himself to be in the 'heavenly realms' if he is leading a household that promotes a good work ethic, fiscal disicpline, peace which includes strict moral and physical discipline, safety,faithfulness, patience,charity and kindness and rejection of the eating of unclean animals, all which are all elements of righteousness that lead to sanctification. A home defined by church of Philadelphia standards ( a state of paradise?) will not have any diseases, will not have any unclean animals on the menu and will be able to retain all the elements necessary for 'heaven'.
Is the name 'Yehovah' in the Lord's prayer? If 'Yehovah' is not in the 'Lord's prayer', it is time to consider that such a prayer should be directed to the faithful father and leader of any intact family where wills are still in effect, food is still provided and when only a moron would take his children to a unholy movie,a wretched casino or a Hooter's type establishment. I can say truthfully that my neither my father nor my godfather ever led me into tempation, exeept when it came to mealtime, and then only because their Catholic teachers did not instruct them properly. 'Abba' is not as weighty of a word as Yehovah and will be more problems in Calgary than Rob McGaver can shake his hockey stick at, but is you do not handle the heavier matters or the law properly, you will fail to handle the lighter and more intricate matters of Yehovah's directives properly.
