With all the threats of imposition of 'Noachide Laws' and without the bias that Nehemiah Gordon has, I am going to define what the term 'Jewish' means to me and should start meaning to many others.
The Jewish people are not people of a covenant, but they are now a generic group of people mostly derived from rabbinic circles of unrighteousness that swings from far too liberal to restrictive beyond the extent that Moshe Ben Amram defined. When a female enters into a marriage covenant, she takes on a different name who she hopes is a covenant keeper, but the Jewish people have not kept the covenant with Yahweh. If the Jewish people as a whole consider themselves masculine or feminine forms , true covenant seekers are not going to be seeking to become Jewish after exiting an anti-Yahweh form of religion. Rabbinic laws and Talmud teachings are not part of a true Israelites covenant with the leader of Moshe, Yoshua and Caleb.
Jewish people historically are too stubborn to be set into a specific tribe mindset from what I have seen and heard, and thus only those willing to ditch ( cast aside) their Jewish identity to narrowly choose or align with 1 of the 12 tribes sealed according to prophecy, will pass a sifting test that requires far more than silly and VAIN blood testing . The advantage that those who have exited Babylonian religions once trust in the name HVHY developed is that they should NOT desire to be referred to as Jewish but should desire to be labeled as an Israelite by covenant, not by the sexual works of Jewish flesh that produced a DNA string that can easily be cut by flaming swords in the hands of archangels.
For instance, 12,000 voluntary humbled and purified Gadites will be people of a binding holy covenant and will specifically tell others not to worship Gad, but to fearfully worship and wonderfully trust the name of Yahweh, Yehovah or Yahuwah. 12,000 voluntary Benjamites will be people of a new and more defined post-Jewish identity as well as people of a binding covenant with HVHY. ( How about uttering "Ten Five Six Five" for those who rather not use the Y word around Noachide nut cases? ). What the printing of most of the so called 'New Testament' texts has done WITH THE INTENT TO DECEIVE is promote worshipping Gd rather than encourage the reader to seek Yahweh's protection and behave like a sealed Israelite should behave after exiting some other form of church or synagogue assembly. If you really want to test the spirits, try praying in the name of Elisha, Elijah or the prophet Malachi while out of the 'public eye' to see if response to your prayers is better than praying in the name of 'Jesus' or 'Yeshua' . I doubt if those names are offensive to HVHY.
Those of us who are not trying to pretend we are Jewish can easily isolate ourselves from Jewish people possibly trying to exterminate us or 'mark' us ( the located responsive sheep who were formerly lost) and we can clearly disobey their rabbinic laws to prove we are not trying to be part of THEIR so-called Jewish covenant with their IBLIS type of spirit that has mated with disgusting anti-Yahweh people such as Robert Kraft of the pompous New England Patriots. There aren't many humble and tough Hank Greenberg types left anymore, but if there is, he'll look more like Ron Soreanu, Steven Kream or Ryan Lavarnway than like Steve Cohen or the people bowing down to a brick wall in Jerusalem that has become a false IDOL to Jewish people and does NOT represent the spirit of Yehovah.
I've seen people bow down and pray to concrete objects in Catholic churches many times, so Jewish people or Christians bowing to or praying to a stone wall in Jerusalem is the same as a Catholic praying toward a statue of the woman they call 'Mary' or any other stone idol. Remember, there is no monetary fine imposed for eating unclean flesh like a hungry dog, but there is a higher probability of disease attacking your own flesh when you choose to reject the dietary plan that people willing to enter into a covenant with Yehovah had accepted. Even the JW.ORG people clearly have not entered into a covenant with Yahweh, but have apparently decided to watch what Yehovah can do when provoked or when worshipped properly rather than according to the Talmud or a JW.ORG computer pad.
When Jewish people become anti-Reuben, anti-Napthali, anti-Zebulun or anti-Simeon or so broad minded they refuse to be sifted into a specific tribe, then the result is that those sealed tribes become anti-Jewish in an equal and opposite reaction rather than breaking covenant and becoming anti-Yehovah.
My opinions differ from Nehemia Gordon's due to my observation of his public tactics. I do not know what will happen to people such as E. Dan Danson of Wausau or Peter Rotter.
